Assisted stretching is a personalized approach that involves a trained professional guiding you through stretches to improve flexibility, range of motion, and overall mobility. We combine different stretching protocols to maximize the effects.

How is assisted stretching different from traditional stretching?

Assisted stretching provides a deeper level of stretch tailored to your individual needs. Our practitioners use their expertise to help you achieve optimal results.

Assisted stretching benefits people of ages 15+ and fitness levels, from athletes seeking performance enhancement to individuals looking to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Is assisted stretching safe?

Yes, assisted stretching is safe when performed by a qualified professional. Our practitioners are trained to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the session.  We are certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

What does a typical assisted stretching session involve?

A session typically lasts 25-30 minutes and includes a personalized assessment followed by targeted stretches designed to improve your flexibility and range of motion. We will show you stretches that can be performed on your own safely and effectively.

Can assisted stretching help with chronic pain?

Yes, assisted stretching can be a valuable tool in managing chronic pain by reducing muscle tension, improving circulation, and promoting relaxation.

What makes Stretch Me unique?

Our private and personalized approach (1-on-1) allows us to focus on your individual needs and goals, providing a customized stretching experience.  It's all about you!!  We ask that you come 5 to 10 minutes early to lightly warm your muscles on one of our cardiovascular machines. We use massage beds with straps to help position the body appropriately for the best possible and safest results.

Do I need to wear any special clothing?
Comfortable workout clothing is recommended.

How often should I schedule assisted stretching sessions?
The frequency of sessions depends on your goals and needs. We recommend starting with one session per week and adjusting as needed.

Will assisted stretching help me recover from injuries?
Assisted stretching can be a valuable part of a rehabilitation program, helping to improve range of motion, reduce stiffness and chronic pain.

Can assisted stretching be combined with other fitness activities?
Absolutely! Assisted stretching can be incorporated into your overall fitness routine to enhance your performance and reduce the risk of injury. In fact, we recommend warming the muscles with strength training and cardio from our sister studio, One More Rep, conveniently located in the same building.
